No connection with my router

Hello,
when i connect my wireless router ,i lose my internet connection on my pc.
my kindle picks up the router but it will not connect
with it

Reboot the router. If that does not fix it, check for a firmware update.
Is the PC hard-wired to the router? How is everything hooked up?

If nothing is working with the router, you may need a new one.
