No CPU temp in open hardware monitor

open hardware monitor is not showing any cpu data except for cpu load on core.
my cpu model is core i5 4460 3.2 ghz.

I have also tried programs like fan speed and core temp but both of these program failed to start
and Hardware monitor does not show any cpu data as well.


Can anyone give a solution?

which motherboard do you have ? does it not come with its own temp monitoring software ?

My motherboard model is msi z-97 gaming 5. I am not sure if it comes with its temp monitoring software.
Recently my graphics card died. It was sapphire r9 270 also I installed a new PSU thermaltake smarpower 530
