hi all
there is no "delete local option" when right clicking a game.
is there anyway to get this back i cant reinstall steam as it would take forever to download my games again.
any help would be great
i have the latest version of steam

Solution
well, first off, there is easier way to do it if you just want to move the game.
view -> settings -> downloads
click on steam library folders
add new folder on target drive.
(or install any new game and create it at that point)
select properties in arma3
local files tab has now new button, "move install folder" which gives you option to change the steam library folder game is installed to.
select one on SSD drive, wait for move to be over, profit.

edit:
If you reinstall it on top of already existing files, then yes, Steam should find the files already there and skip the downloads.
so if you copy steamapps/common/arma3 to new steam library folder, it should skip downloads for the new install.
but only IF said copy was done before...
What do you want to do? Delete a steam game? I believe you can in control panel, though I have never tried to delete a steam game without steam installed. And i dont know what you mean by "is there anyway to get this back i cant reinstall steam as it would take forever to download my games again." followed up by "i have the latest version of steam" that kind of contradicts itself. If you have steam installed you can uninstall your games within steam.

There is no longer "delete local content" option that I can see. Said feature was replaced by "uninstall"
which for me shows both when right clicking a game (doesn't for you)
and right click -> properties -> local files

reinstalling steam will not require you to reinstall games unless you install steam in some other folder than before. Reinstalling in same folder causes steam to recognize the installed games just fine.
