Hello, i heard that switching my ssd mode from IDE to AHCI mode in the bios would make it run faster. So i changed the setting to ahci and everything works fine but on boot i get the "No device found AHCI BIOS not installed", then my pc proceeds to boot to windows 10 and everything works fine, i swapped back to IDE mode for now, please help me get AHCI mode working on my PC

Here are my specs:
MOBO: Gigabyte x58a-ud3r
RAM: 5x2gb vcolor 1600mhz
GPU: RX550
SSD: Samsung 860 EVO
CPU: Core i7 950
