No disk factory reset on dell vostros 1000 xp,, error says no os can be found

Dell Vostros, boot error, no os found disconnect any hard drives without an os. I do not have a disk and my product key sticker is misplaced. Trying to reboot to factory. Cant't get safety mode to come up

Could be the drive is done for and it needs replacing.
