I have an ASUS PRIME H310M-K Motherboard, with an i3-8100 and 1x8gb DDR4 2400Mhz RAM. I recently bought an i7-9700f and 2x16gb Corsair Vengeance 2666Mhz LPX RAM. I placed the new RAM in, and the PC fans span up, the keyboard lit up, but the mouse did not, and nothing was displayed. I switched to the original RAM and got the same result. I then added the new CPU, as I noticed that the original CPU did not support the new RAM speed. However, the results are the same. I have been resetting the CMOS between every step. What can I do?

Immediately after posting, I found the solution. I had been testing it with the video directly from the motherboard. The new CPU does not support integrated graphics, so switching back to my GPU fixed this. While this does not explain the problems while it was still connected to the GPU earlier, I hope this helps people.
