Question No Display after first boot new AMD Rig

Hello everyone,

I just bought a new System and got a graphic card that is used but works. (worked today 1h before I got it)

I have the following components:
AsTock B450 pro4
Corsair Vengeance LPX (2x, 8GB, DDR4-3200, DIMM 288)
CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600X/3800MHz, AM4
Netzteil Enermax MaxPro II, EMP500AGT-C
SSD Adata Flash SX8200 Pro, 512GB, M.2.2280
MSI GTX 1070

I put the 1070 into the PCIE2simce slot4 is off because of the M2

i started the system and everything was perfect. Bios was shown.
I grabbed a Win10 USB Stick. Booted aaand now display...

I tried it with one ram - same
DP instead of HDMI - same
I checked all the connections, removed bios battery, took gtx out and put it in again.
All same result.
I am going crazy.

anyone an idea or a tip where to start.

I just did the following tests:
Different PSU
Different graphic (gtx 1060)
Tested all RAM Slots

still the same result.

That board will need a bios update before it will support the 3600. Only MAX boards are 3000 series right out of the box with the b450 chipset. You will need to install an older Ryzen, flash bios and the install your 3600.

okay. Now I gottta find another ryzen cpu xD

what ai don’t get is that I once was in the Windows setup screen and then rebooted because it was an old stick and I wanted to use the new one

Will a Ryzen 5 2600 work?
Could get that out of another System.
