No display after installing AMD Driver (R9 380, Win7 64bit)

Hello just finished building my first PC however when I install the most recent driver for my card from the AMD site, I have no display after I restart my PC. I have display up until "Starting Window;s" has finished, and then it goes black for the log in screen.. I cannot see the log in screen and my monitor goes straight to power save mode. I can however see my desktop in Safe Mode, where I then have tried uninstalling and reinstalling many times. My specs are as follows

Win 7 Home Premium 64bit
HIS IceQX2 Radeon R9 380 Graphics Card
Gigabyte B85M D3H

Are you certain you are plugged into the graphics card, and not the motherboard?
