No display after installing asus gt610-1gd3-l gpu

I bought a asus gt610-1gd3-l (1GB ddr3 64bit) gpu connect it to pcie, but the motherboard didn't recognize it (black screen), so it's just chose the igp.
My specs:
MB: ASUS M2N-MX SE
cpu: amd athlon x2 64 4400+ (2.3GHz)
ram: 3072MB
psu: 450W
What is the problem?

In the BIOS, you have set the IGP to "OFF"?

It first check the PCI-E slot and doesn't recognize gpu then it select the igp

1)Remove the gpu , plug monitor cable to mobo's onboard output

2)start pc - go to device manager - display - uninstall whichever drivers is

3)restart pc - put gpu back


or

1)go to bios settings - set primary display device to PEG OR PCI E

or

1)Update your bios to latest

or


1)update your mobo drivers

or

1)make sure you have connected vga or dvi cable from GPU to monitor not onboard on mobo to monitor

OK, in your BIOS, you have an Option "Primary Graphics Adapter" and you want to set it to PCIE->PCI->IGP.

However i set it, pc is not booting with gpu, but with igp.

This is a somewhat old MB, I would definitely advise you to update your BIOS and NVidia driver, if you haven't already. As ASHISH65 advised, make sure you remove the old driver first.

Your MB only has VGA output, so I assume you are using VGA on your GT610, Have you tried the DVI or HDMI from your GT610 output to your monitor?

i have only one output and it's hdmi

the problem is not connection between screen and gpu but, between gpu and pc itself, because it should boot using gpu however the monitor is connected or not,

I could be wrong on this, but I don't see any support for the NForce 430 MB Chipset on NVidia's driver support page, the choices stop at the 5 series. It may be possible that this board won't support this Card. The newest driver for the MB from Asus is from 2008. If nothing works, you might want to call Asus. 1-812-282-2787 Monday – Friday, 5:30AM – 9:00PM PST. I think they are in Fremont CA. I called them about 5 years ago and they were quite helpful with a MB problem.

Can anyone tell me if I have 6 years old PC. When I insert Asus gt610 it starts and download the driver but the games show d3dx9_40.dll and few more dll errors. And it happens after I formatted the PC. Before that it was working absultely fine so I want o know:
1- why is this error when Asus comes with direct x 11 and my run command shows direct x11 installed..I.e dxdiag.
2- how do I select pcie slot because it does not give me those options as u guys are talking about. It give me options like
Igd
Pci\igd
Pci/ peg
Peg/igd
Peg/ pci
And third thing which slot should I enable it in. It shows 5-6 slots.
Can plz help me in this and plz reply me in my email russellsingh1981@gmail.com because I don't no how to keep track of the thread here.
I'll be greatful to u ppl
