Question No display after upgrading cpu

Motherboard: asustek p8h61-m lx3 plus R2.0
Gpu: nvidia geforce gfx 650ti (1gb)

My monitor doesn't show any display after I installed intel i5-2400. Then boot completely fine after I changed it back to the old cpu which is intel pentium g2030. I already updated the bios to the latest version btw. Is it not compatible or am I missing something? Help me pls

Try removing power fully, pulling the BIOS battery for 10 minutes, and clearing CMOS before inserting the newer CPU and powering back up...

(Can't rule out that your replacement might actually be bad)

Thanks for your help unfortunately it still doesn't work. The weird thing is it doesn't have weird sound or whatever. The led and fans turns on normally but then still nothing on the monitor not even bios setup. Probably a bad cpu tho smh.
