Question No display but components appearing to be powering on fine

Hello!

Last night i noticed some freezing and stutters whilst just generally using my pc, nothing intensive. I checked drivers and updated my graphics via geforce experience. Skip forward to today and on boot I'm not seeing any display. All the components are lit including the graphics card and water cooling.

Things I've tried:

1. Reset cmos
2. Unplugged gpu and tried onboard video
3. Unplugged ram and replugged

I also noticed an 00 message on the motherboard which from googling could suggest a number of things apparently!

My Approx spec :

I7 6700k
Gtx 1080
16gb corsair ram
650w Coolermaster psu
Mobo is an Asus maximus viii hero

Any help would be appreciated before i spend money on new parts that i may not need!
