No display but I have power to GPU CPU and monitor

The system has power but the benq monitor is telling me there is "no signal detected " normally if it's a cable issue the monitor will say " no cable connected.
I have done all the obvious checks on cables swapped out the HDMI cable for new one
Tried removing the GPU and running the onboard Intel graphics
Still the same "no display detected"

I can see fans running on the GPU and CPU

However I use a backlit keyboard and it does not light up which makes me wonder if I actually have a boot problem rather than a display problem

I'm running Windows 10 on a Samsung SDD
HDD separate
GPU is nvidia GTX 1080
Asus motherboard

It a pretty new machine less than a month old

I'm wondering if the SDD has failed any comments welcome

Also if it is the SDD that has failed Is it possible to remove an old HDD from a machine and put it into this machine to see if Windows 7 will load

even if the SSD failed, you'd still see a post screen.

I'm sure you've checked, but make sure you're on the right input on your monitor if it allows you to change between inputs (DVI, HDMI, DP, etc).

Other than that I'd make sure your RAM is seeded properly too.

Thanks for that. Yeah checked the monitor is on the correct setting for the cable HDMI DVI etc
What is a post screen?
Could it be something on the motherboard
I find it weird that both GPU and Onboard CPU have both the same problem?

I was going to put in an old HDD that I know have Windows 7 on it to see if it boot but I'm scared to mess up the Bois settings as I know Windows 10 keeps the settings in the Bois
But right now with no display at all I can't even see the bios.

The post screen is the one you see where you can hit Del to enter BIOS setup.
If you're not even getting that far, there is something else going on.

Move your computer towe near a TV and plug it in with your HDMI cable.
You should at least see the bios screen.
If you don't then there is something else going on internally with your computer.

Culprits are:
RAM
CPU
Power Supply
Motherboard

You would have to try and troubleshoot each of those components (if possible) to determine if any were an issue.
Obviously some you will likely not be able to trouble shoot unless you happen to have spares laying around, or a second computer with compatible parts.

Thanks for trying to help
I have removed ram and tried with one stick
I tried to plug it into the TVs still no display
I removed the CMOS too in a hope I could reset the Bois so at least I could see something on the screen
But still no joy
It wired that I have no keyboard too
I have no spare parts to check with
However I am betting somethings wrong with the SDD
Like I said power to MB and GPU fans are spinning
I'm fortunate as its only a month old and still under warrenty. Unfortunate as it will be back in the store two weeks

@Urban, I've pressed DEL before and still haven't gotten anything to pop up on the screen. I've seen vids where there remove the CMOS battery to reset the BIOS, but I don't think that's my issue. I can't seem to find my issue

Beach, it's not the SSD. You can pull it out of your system completely.
Your computer will still let you in to the Bios screen without a SSD or HDD attached.
Those are detected later, and have nothing to do with your system not posting.

If you weren't getting anything on your TV, then you know it's not your monitor or HDMI cable.

Without spare parts, it's hard to say if something else hadn't failed, but again, I can guarantee you that the SSD will have nothing to do with being able to get to your BIOS screen.

@ Urban
Thanks again
I guess that leave a problem with the main board
But how can it be the MB when I see all fans spinning on both the case the GPU and the CPU
I'm wondering if the key to this problem is the fact that I can't get anything on my keyboard either

Any system you put together will post with just Motherboard (with onboard video output), CPU, RAM, and power supply.
You can have nothing else connected (other than the monitor) and you will get to the post screen which will then inform you that there is an error (no keyboard connected, or no HDD/SSD connected).

The fans will spin because they are getting voltage from the PSU (power supply unit), however this doesn't mean your PSU is functioning properly either.
It is possible the PSU is not supplying the PROPER voltage/amperage to the necessary components.

It's a process of elimination right now, and unfortunately you don't have enough resources at your disposal to properly troubleshoot the issue :/

@ urban
I'm returning the machine tomorrow
I hope it comes back by the weekend
Once I have the engineer report I will post here what the problem was
It might help others
Thank you again sir for your help and suggestions

@ Odd I returned the machine back to the builders at chillblast. As I said it was only 30 days old so still under warranty

Btw
It was a failure on the motherboard and it had to be replace. The tech also replaced the CPU and RAM for good measure. Nobody seems to know why the problem oc happened

Good to hear they solve it for you.
Always helps to have spare parts for testing, but most people don't have that luxury 😉
