Hello guys
I have an i3 7100 on MSI B150M mortar arctic. Gskill trident Z 16gb. When i turn on the pc everything lights up. There are no lights on the EZ debug LED. All the fans are spinning.
The problem is it wont display anything..

Solution
B150 boards do not support your CPU without prior BIOS update to the latest version. You need to use a compatible CPU (borrow one or buy the cheapest Celeron (G3900)) to first flash the BIOS, and only then can you use your i3 7100.
No, unfortunately, at least not in your case. A few high-end ASUS and Gigabyte motherboards support flasing BIOS without the CPU, but such boards are rare, and not all manufacturers even care about that feature. I would avoid too much hassle and simply buy Celeron G3900 (it is cheap), use it to flash BIOS, sell it afterwards. Or, if you have a friend with Skylake CPU, you could borrow it just for flashing.

It doesn't have to be a new one - I'm pretty sure you could easily get a used Celeron G3900 for $20-$30 (maybe even lower), since new CPUs are usually around $40.

Either that, or return that i3 and replace it with 6th gen i3. Almost no difference in performance, anyway.
