After an nvidia driver update failed and locked up my computer, I had to reboot. The card (evga 770) would not display at all after this, not even a POST splash screen.
I pulled it out, checked it, tried it again a few times in different pci-e, still nothing. I removed it and booted up with the onboard. Deleted the 770 drivers and installed new ones. Still nothing. After removing the card again to boot up with the onboard, I can't get that to display anything either, not even a splash screen. The monitor never detects any signal from the computer. The cpu is a i5-4560k.
I have had this set up working properly for about two years now, and never had an issue. Did the update brick my card and have I ruined the mobo in the process?
