Question No display from GPU

Hi everyone,

today my GPU stopped outputting a display. When I plug my mobo into the monitor the display is fine - but not from any of the slots on the GPU. I have a hunch the GPU is dead. It’s about 9 months old and was working fine yesterday. When I look In the BIOS it doesn’t detect anything in the PCI slots at all. I’ve tried a few things with no success, so would appreciate any tips before I look to replace.

setup:
GPU gigabyte 2080 ti
Mobo ASUS Maximus Code XI
CPU intel 9900k

Steps taken:
Updated mobo bios
Moved GPU to other PCI slots
disconnected and reconnected all cables, particularly power cables
Disabled mobo onboard graphics drivers
