Pc specs:
Aorus Z690 DDR4 elite
I9-12900k
gtx 1080 ti (I have a rtx 3090 ti but it’s not connected yet)
gigabyte p1000 (1000W)
Corsair H150i elite (cpu cooler)

so when I booted for the first time I had a LED lighting up on my motherboard.
It was for “vga” indicating that there is an error with the gpu.
Everything is working except for that. I’m not getting any display when I’m connected to my gpu.
But whenever I plug my monitor in to DisplayPort on my motherboard and remove my gpu, then I get a display.

Ive tried using my new gpu but I also don’t get a signal.
Ive also tried using another pcie slot for my gpu but still no succes.

Could it be that my psu is too weak maybe?
Help would be very appreciated.
All my components are new except for ssd

Solution
Ive also tried using another pcie slot for my gpu but still no succes.
Whenever I put my gpu into the second slot it does work.
There is a bit of contradiction between those two statements.
Have you tried using GPU in first slot but connecting monitor to motherboard (on default BIOS settings)? If it works go to Windows and see in Device Manager if GPU is visible.
Another thing to try is setting first PCIe slot Gen from Auto to Gen 3 in BIOS.

So after testing,
I came to the conclusion that my first pcie slot doesn’t work.
Whenever I put my gpu into the second slot it does work.
I’m guessing there is no way to fix this and I should just refund this one and get a new mobo?
