Hey guys, I have had my PC for about 5 months and it always ran smoothly. However if I'd get mad I'd punch my desk, resulting in my entire system freezing. I wouldn't be able to move my mouse, or even turn the system off normally. I'd have to hold the power button for 5 seconds or so in order for it to fully turn off.
I wanted to fix the freezes and read something about the CMOS battery. I removed it with a screwdriver which I later learned may not have been a wise decision.
Because when I had reinstalled my system it would no longer give a display. (My keyboard would light up however). I am very sure my monitor still works. I had never installed a system speaker for beeps, but just found one lying around. So I installed the speaker but it doesn't ever give any beeps. Since I short-circuited the CMOS jumper my keyboard no longer turns on either.
So in conclusion, my computer boots up, cooler lights up and start spinning, GPU fans start spinning, LEDs turn on (strips & power), RAM rgb turns on, but my keyboard stays off and I don't hear any beeps. And of course still no display. My computer does stay on until I turn it off manually by holding the power button for a number of seconds.

I'm guessing my motherboard is fried, but how can I be sure? I don't have any other PC lying around... I do have a laptop, I don't know if that's of any use?
Could also be the PSU, perhaps too much dust or something? Or too low wattage? Can't imagine since it used to run fine before...
