I have been working a on client PC motherboard since 3 weeks. He state that the "PC is on and running as it has all-way do but i don't get any display".Once in my workshop i open the case and power it on same problem,I started to inspect the board and buzzer was missing i plug in one then i power it on again no BUZZER SOUND " beep".At this state you should be worried because your board might be dead,i decide to remove the RAM stick and expecting a continuous BUZZER SOUND like "BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP ........." but NO SOUND 🙁 . THIS mean CPU.I removed the whole motherboard clean the whole board(it was dusty on it back) check power supply voltage is OK
.""Normally in those case CPU fan is on but does no dissipating heat at all"" if you encounter this kind of problems NO display,CPU not heating, ram removed still no buzzer sound, all capacitor is ok then the MOTHERBOARD IS DEAD. BUT in my case after A GOOD CLEANING and RESET CMOS using jumper the buzzer sound is heard
client will be happy. So behind all this is electronics and it required a good area to operate nicely and to much dust cause electrostatics discharged.YOU can also use an oscilloscope to check the waves..
hope it helps
