Hello,
I am in the middle of my first build right now and have hit a snag. I have installed the following components:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 1500x
Motherboard: MSI Tomahawk B350
GPU: Gigabyte Radeon RX550
RAm: 2x 4GB HyperX Fury
PSU: Corsair 500 W
SSD: SanDisk 120GB

When I turn on the computer all the fans come on but no signal is coming to through to the screen that I have connected through HDMI port on the motherboard. I have the same issue when using the HDMI on the graphics card. When I boot troubleshooting LEDs do come on. The CPU led comes on for about 5 seconds then turns off. Then the VGA led comes on for approximately 1 second. Finally the GPU led turns on and stays on until I turn off the computer. According to the manual the GPU led indicates that the CPU's iGPU is not detected and that a GPU must be installed.

My guess is that there is an issue with the motherboard and GPU communicating. I have checked the GPU multiple times and made sure that it was properly seated. Unfortunately, I do not have an extra GPU to test.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the quick replies. The problem ended up resolving itself. The only thing I changed was I inserted a second stick of RAM and from then on BIOS displayed.

Trouble with this is theres various problems it could be right now, possible that the GPU is not seated properly still, some cases can pull it out of the slot slightly without even realising, best way to check this is build the system on a desk out of the case.

The next problem is your board could need a bios update first to support RyZen 5, most of these AM4 motherboards only shipped from the factories a month ago with RyZen 7 support only, the shop your brought it from should update it for free for you, otherwise you'll have to pay a small fee to get the bios updated or possibly borrow a RyZen 7 off a mate for 5 mins to update the bios yourself, this seems to be a big problem at the moment.
