In putting this build together I do not get any signal to my monitor when I startup the machine. What I have installed so far is the cpu and cpu fan, the ssd, and the RAM. When I connect the psu, the machine turns on, the cpu fan and case fan are running, but I am getting no signal on my monitor. I should be seeing the uefi, and the monitor says no signal and goes black. There is no graphics card, I am expecting the integrated graphics on the cpu to work. This is the first time I've experienced this problem.

I didn't think about the RAM, that's a great suggestion. I was using the dvi cable from my desktop...just disconnected it from my computer and connected it to the new machine. I thought I had a vga cable around somewhere (and I probably do) but we recently moved, and not everything has been unpacked. So I went to my Mom's house (who this computer will be for) and took her vga cable. haven't tried that yet.

So I plugged in the vga cable and got a signal. My mistake was having the m.2 ssd installed. So it wouldn't take me to the uefi (I was breadboarding the build). Now that i know it works, I can proceed to finish the build. This computer is for my Mom and she's not worried about great graphics, so if it runs on VGA, she'll be okay. I'm sure once i have it set up with OS, SSD, HDD and keyboard, I can get the dvi port working, though I doubt she'll care.
