I have recently upgraded my computer as my last computer fried itself.
My new rig components are:
FX6300 3.5Ghz
Zotac 1050Ti 4gb OC eddition(new)
16Gb Kingston
ASUS M5A78L-MLX3 mobo(new)
PSU Corsair CX650M(new)
..............................................................................
So problem started when I tried to install my GPU. I do get display when monitor is connected to MOBO directly by a VGA, but when I connect my monitor by a VGA-DVI adapter. there is no DISPLAY. GPU fans are spinning though.
BTW when I connected my GPU to one of my friend's monitor by HDMI end to end wire, Could see dsplay.
I dont have HDMI port on my Monitor(cant afford a brand new monitor for time being)
.....
Please help.

Solution
To get analog output from the graphics card, you need a dvi-I capable output.
You can tell if you have one by the 4 pins surrounding the blade output.
Your card does not have that.

will try that, will let you know.

wait a minute. A active converter costs around Rs. 6000/-
Its better I buy a new Monitor instead by adding more money.
