Hello everyone, I got a new pc yesterday, everything was fine. I turned it on, plugged it in and it was working. I was downloading games, then it seemed to have froze, I did a hard reset , then my pc restarted 3 times by itself. Since then, I don’t get any display on my monitor. The pc turns on.
pc specs….5900x , 3080, 850watt psu, 32gb ram. Asus rog strix mobo.

What games were you downloading? Source website?

Very likely that the new pc was also doing its' own upgrades: Windows, device drivers, crapware upgrades, etc..

End result being that buggy or corrupted files were installed or something got corrupted during the process.

Will the PC boot into Safe Mode? Disconnect from the internet and use Safe Mode (if possible) to reboot.

Then run the built in Windows Troubleshooters. The troubleshooters may find and fix something.

Likewise try "sfc /scannow" and "dism".

Once up and running check Task Manager > Startup. Disable anything that you recognize and do not want launched at startup.

Plus how can I even do that if I don't see anything on the screen?

Are you able to access BIOS?

https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1008829/#:~:text=While the computer isn't,the BIOS configuration display.).

Does the monitor then display?

Also:

https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1013018/

https://www.tomsguide.com/how-to/how-to-boot-into-windows-10-safe-mode

Specifically the following section further down.

How to boot into Windows 10 safe mode from a blank screen
My monitor turns on but does not display anything from my PC....it does display from my ps5. My keyboard seems to not work on my PC either now, looks like one ram stick does not work because when I have 2 sticks I get an error of 0d on the mobo. I cannot access the bios. I don't know if its the GPU or the mobo.

Error Code 0d

There are other similar links available but you need to narrow the match to the specific motherboard model and the symptoms that you are seeing.

Also go to the Asus website and look for the User Guide/Manual applicable to your motherboard manual.

Double check the installed RAM is correctly physically installed and fully seated. Some motherboards require that the first physically RAM module be installed in a specific RAM slot.

Try each RAM module independently in the applicable RAM slot. Could be that one module has failed.

Try using the motherboard's iGPU port if integrated graphics are supported by motherboard and CPU. Appears to be so but details matter.

However, if the keyboard is not getting power then there may have been some failure within the motherboard or PSU.

Where did you purchase the new pc? Any warranty?
