No display on montior

I just installed a new CPU and I know my motherboard supports it, i turn my pc on it works fine but there is no display on my monitor. My hdmi has been plugged into all the slots hoping that would work but no, also I have the right source selected on monitor. Help please!

I have a msi B150 PC Mate
And the old CPU was a i5 6400
I put the old one back in and it works fine so I'm guessing it could be BIOS but it sure

Try updating the board's BIOS.

try reset the BIOS. The easiest way to do it is to remove the BIOS battery for 10 sec and put it back

I've tried for so long to update bios and I just can't, I download the right driver and put it on a flash drive and it says there is nothing on the flash drive when I go into m flash

On the msi download page, when you unzip the latest BIOS package.

I've downloaded the latest bios version and I've saved it to my flashdrive already with FAT32 and it doesn't detect anything in the drive when I go to m flash

I have unzipped it and put it in different USB ports and it just comes up with this
"There isn't any BIOS File in this USB key(root folder) Please copy BIOS File to this USB key(root folder)

How do u know if your USB drive is bootable

You make it bootable, by using Rufus, or similar.
