No display on my acer monitor?

I left my computer on for an hour or so and then when I return my monitor is shut off and when I try to shut it back on it says no display...I checked my gpu which works (fan is still blowing) I plugged my VGA cord out of my pc and out of my monitor and then plugged it back in but it still didn't work..Then iresetted my pc and then it worked fine...What was the problem here?

Try a different monitor cable.

Try a different monitor.

Trya different graphics card (eg integrated graphics). Try your card in another PC.

I disabled my Integrated GPU, and also when I resetted my pc in that incident it worked normal..I assume it is just a windows bug or a disabled bios option that allows the mouse and keyboard to wake the computer up...

Did you try another cable, monitor or graphics card?

So far I only have one monitor...I don't have any other monitor cables but my friend does have some other ones....However this time I enabled my onboard gpu this time...If it does it again then I will switch to IGPU...So far I think the problem has to do with windows is what I think..Also my IGPU was outdated too :/
