I have an asus prime a520m-k motherboard, amd ryzen 5 5600x cpu and a geforce rtx 2060 gpu. I also have 2 8gb ddr4 ram sticks. I know that the mobo comes ready for 3rd gen ryzen but i also know that it can support 5th gen if i upgrade the bios. the problem is that I cant get to the bios screen to update it, i have the latest bios version on a usb stick.
I have tried reseating the cpu, only using 1 ram stick, swapping the ram sticks and clearing the cmos but to no avail.
I know everything is compatible as i had an asus prime a320m-a and my gpu and ram were both compatible with that, but the cpu wasnt which is why i bought this new motherboard as I have been told by trusted sources that it can be.
I am truly stuck and have no idea where to go from here so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Depending on date MB was made, you may still have to upgrade BIOS and for that you would need 100% compatible CPU.

You may have to find a local computer shop with a compatible CPU to do a BIOS update.
