Hi everyone,
I’m having a frustrating issue with my PC and would appreciate any help. Here’s my setup and what I’ve tried so far:
After my old PSU exploded, I replaced it with the current MAG A550BN PSU. Since then, my external GPU (ZOTAC GTX 1060) hasn’t been able to output anything to my monitor.
• If I set the external GPU as the primary adapter in the BIOS, its fan spins, but the monitor displays no signal. However, the card doesn’t work at all unless it’s set as the primary display adapter.
• I tested an older GPU, and it has the same issue: fan spins, but no output.
• When I set the integrated GPU as the primary adapter in the BIOS, everything works fine, but I lose the performance of the external GPU.
• I’ve updated the BIOS to the latest version, tried disabling the integrated GPU in the BIOS, and tested different monitors and cables. None of these steps fixed the problem.
The external GPUs are detected in Windows when the integrated GPU is set as primary, and their fans spin as expected. However, there’s still no output from them.
Nothing seams to be damaged. I think it could be a problem in bios setting. If anyone has ideas or has encountered this before, I’d appreciate some guidance.
Thanks in advance!
