Hello,
I recently built a PC, Configuration:
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-880GM-USB3 rev 3.1
GPU:ATI Radeon HD 4250 onboard(no other graphics card)
Processor: AMD FX4100, 8 GB RAM
TV Sansui : SAM32HH-PJA
OS: Windows 8 Release Edition
I am trying to connect the tv via onboard HDMI but out, It works fine in safe mode but without the safe mode it does not display anything after the initl windows screen.
The VGA works fine.
Observation 1: In the resolution screen in safe mode it detects the TV as Videocon TV(most boards for these tv's are manufactured by videocon) which is correct but in normal mode it displays Generic non Pnp monitor and may be the reason why its not showing the display correctly.
Observation 2: With VGA connected if you try to connect HDMI and switch the TV mode to HDMI there is no display on hdmi and the machine hangs i cant even get back to vga without a hard restart.
Observation 3: With only HDMI connected the machine shows display until windows loading screen and then no display. Also the machine hangs in this case as i tried to use a remote software to connect and it couldnt connect.
I have tried installing and uninstalling all sorts of drivers from gigabyte site/ amd site fresh install using another monitor for vga and then connecting.
All i need to do is to use my TV as primary and only display over hdmi.
Please help
