No display,pc starts and monitor shows no display

I have an nvidia Geforce 8500gt. 1.5 gb dedicated. Ok so as the title says everytime I turn on the pc the lcd turns on and then goes into power safer mode. The fan on the video is not running and I don't know what to do. I tried everything. Tested my power supply.disassembled the entire pc and put it back together..I dont know what else to do....and also I dont know which dedicated graphic card I have bcoz it just has the opposite cable than that of vga cable....manufacturer of mobo is gigabyte.the system boots normal with a beep hdd spinning but no display. I got in the bios by pressing del key and by estimation tried to load the fail safe settings. And succeeded but again no display

It might be a graphics card issue. Try identifying the motherboard model (it should be printed on the motherboard, or use CPU-Z).

Look I cant see what the lcd is displaying and plus dont have user manual of mobo......
I know its the card but isnt there any solution ....

Then CPU-Z is not an option. When possible, check the motherboard:

If http://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-EP43-DS3L-rev-10#sp
then no integrated video available, so you'd need a graphics card for testing. Try borrowing one.
