Hello guys, I have a Lenovo Legion T5 prebuilt, my gpu burned out(i have for short period of time a little gpu for the display)... My cpu has integrated graphics card, but my motherboard doesn't have a display port or hdmi, but it has usb type C. AMD doesnt let me install graphics driver on it,(Error 182). If I buy USB Type C to HDMI can I use the cpu iGPU for display? Ryzen 5 5600G is the cpu.

meh.. that's sad. because i bought this legion second hand, and it's going to cost me a fortune to buy a new graphics card.. I currently have an nvidia GTS450 in it, and tomorrow i need to give it back.. Is there any possible way to use an integrated graphics card in this lenovo system? because i can't install drivers on it, my device manager only shows nvidia card.. even if i buy a cheap graphics card on it i can't use that integrated amd iGPU..

If you want to test if this one allows you to use the integrated graphics, you can't test until/unless you remove the GPU (or find an option in BIOS, but that's always iffy on a prebuilt). Your description of how you determined you can't use the motherboard's output is a bit unclear; you don't specify if you're actually removing the GPU. From saying you still see the regular GPU suggests that you are not.

Okay, now I have a bigger problem.. For now I bought nVidia GT630 2GB, (after prices goes little bit lower i will buy a better one). But no display in my monitor, neither TV.. The sound of windows loading, keyboard presses etc. everything is working just fine but no display to monitor or tv. I even tried a second graphics card (GTS450 Zotac) that acts the same as the first one..
What I tried - Reseting cmos, replacing ram, replacing cable( i used Hdmi and DP neither of them works(no signal)). Maybe they can’t 1440p resolution? But my tv is 1080p, and it still doesnt work.. 🥲

Btw - it doesnt even show bios logo, so it’s not a driver compatibility, i even tried taking ssd out, but still no output..

Double checked everything, there’s nothing that could’ve happened. GTS is using additional power connection, and the GT630 dont need that..
Pc is literally working but my monitor nor the tv doesnt output any video, but it literally boots up to windows everything works, but no signal to monitor..

Older graphics cards before the 700 series used a legacy connection to be recognized.
Modern cards will need a uefi connection to be recognized.

I am guessing that your old card was a more modern card that connected to a uefi bios.
But, I don't know how you can change to a legacy bios if you can't get a display.
And, your motherboard may not even have such an option.

See if a simple modern card like a GT1030 will get recognized.

Okay, so I ordered a new motherboard, case and psu. Never ever buying another prebuilt.. Im going to use that cpu iGpu for now, and after prices comes a little bit lower, i’m going to buy another rtx3060ti. Thanks for the help guys!
