Not getting a display from a used 1080ti graphics card. The fans and lights on the GPU are working and I tried connecting the GPU to the TV by HDMI (used a hdmi1.3 cable).

GPU has 2x 8 pin power supply slots, which I connected with 2x(6+2) pins from the PSU.

Specs

GPU : Zotac gtx 1080ti mini
Cpu : Ryzen 5 3600
Mobo : Asus b450 rog strix
PSU : Antec 650 W
Ram : Adata 8gbx2 3000mhz
Hdd : Seagate 4tb barracuda
SSD : 120gb Kingston

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

You could eliminate it if you have an onboard D-sub connection you could send to an older type monitor. If tghat works, you ight need to have a look in Control PanelDevice Manager and check drivers for the 1080.

There is absolutely nothing on screen/ no signal.

But the PC does recognise the GPU as it stops outputting picture from Mobo(tried with CPU with iGPU) and tries to get picture from the GPU but the GPU gives no picture.

Try going into your BIOS by using integrated graphics card or any other GPU then look for Boot Mode Selection. If it's set to UEFI, set it to Legacy Only. Save and shutdown your PC then connect your 1080ti GPU and run your Computer. Hope that helps
