My graphics card only displays out of the VGA input and not the HDMI nor the VGA with the DVI adapter. I have tried many different places searching for answers such as forums and AMD website. I have not been succesful anywhere and this problem has been occuring for a while. I first got the card on 10/1/15 but I returned it as I thought the card was defected for not displaying and it still doesnt display on my new card. I don't need an adapter and all drivers are up to date.

What is your system specs, cpu, motherboard, graphics card and monitor.

Things to check:

*Your monitor is on the correct input source, some monitors may need to toggle manually between analogue/digital signals.
*Nothing is protruding in the way of the hdmi slot of the graphics card preventing complete connection, like metal dividers of the case in between slots.
*Check you're using the graphic card's hdmi if the motherboard has integrated graphics and mistakenly using this instead.

None of that.. wish it was that simple.

Me to since you haven't given me much to go by, thats why i asked for more information.

Sorry, wasn't making you to be something for suggesting simple checks. You'd be surprised how many of those checks were a cause for many people i have helped here over the years.

No worries man. Thank you anyway for trying to help!

My card came with a DVI-I to VGA adapter but im confused why the HDMI wont work thats my main question.

If the monitor doesn't support HDMI, or digital at all, it won't work through HDMI, as HDMI is digital only. It would require an active converter, that converts digital signal to an analog one. Your video card has one DVI-I port (the other is DVI-D), which supports analog. You can use a DVI-I to VGA converter on that port (non-active), because the port is designed to support analog.

Nope. That DVI-I doesn't work converted to VGA and the monitor does support HDMI input is digital and still doesn't work.

Have you worked it out yet?

Have you tried another HDMI cable?

What is your monitor? I'll search around in regards to your particular model.

Bit strange for the same problem to happen to different graphics cards, if were to think of a connection between what you've replaced and whats happening it has to be a good guess its the cable or theres something wrong with the monitor.

Havent got it to work yet and yes i have tried multiple different HDMI chords.. the monitor is a VIZIO VW22LHDTV10T

Ok we're getting somewhere.

Make sure you've set the maximum resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels @ 60Hz which your TV goes upto.

If your at that resolution already, try changing the HDMI input label to PC in the TV menu

Press the MENU button to activate the On Screen Display
(OSD). Select the FEATURE option to adjust the Time, Sleep
Timer, Advanced Video Menu, Password, Parental Control,
Analog Captions, Digital Captions, Digital Closed Caption, Input
Label
, Component Set, and VGA Set setting
