No display upon boot; VGA light on

Hey all,

Have a pc that’s been running well for 6ish months (ryzen 5 1600 tomahawk b350, asus 1060 3gb) and today started booting, then the vga light turned on. I’ve cleaned the contacts with a brush and still nothing. I’ve noticed when the pc is turned on the fans in the gpu start, then stop a few seconds later. Would love some help with this. Thank you!

Make sure the gpu is seated properly, power connectors plugged in. You haven't made any changes in the bios or other settings?

No, I’m resetting the BIOS now to be sure though. The gpu seems to be set properly, there is a light on the gpu above the pcie plug in that I’m assuming means it’s getting power from
the power supply. If resetting the bios doesn’t work does that mean the gpu is dead?
