Hi guys, i shut down my pc one day (it was working completely) fine and turned it on next day but it lost the display then. The monitor says “sleep mode”. The board flashes a light when turned on, and all fans are working when turned on. Tested monitor and it worked on my gaming console.

I built my pc about 1 year ago and everything was working great until it wasn’t. Here is the parts i used:
AMD ryzen5 r5 1600
Asus geforce gtx 1050 2gb
Gigabyte GA AB350n
One ssd, one hdd
Old psu from my old pc (450w)

I have taken my graphic card to shop to test and they said it works.
I have tried clearing cmos, no luck.
I removed everything, except psu, gpu and cpu, still won’t give me display.

The motherboard speaker doesn’t work from day1 so i don’t have a beep code.

I’m thinking of replacing the psu first... any thoughts on what might be the problem?

Solution
you say the motherboard speaker doesnt work but it doesnt have one, you actually need to install one. there is a 4 pin header that it will attach to. since you have had the gpu tested the PSU would be the next thing. if that doesnt work the motherboard, cpu and ram are next.... good luck
