Question No display with new cpu

I bought a new psu and cpu 2700x and 750 watt evga psu i installed my new cpu and i get no display my gpu is fine cause when i put my old cpu back in everything worked great

Any ideas?

What was your old CPU? Remember, the 2700X does not have integrated graphics...

Is the BIOS up to date? If you have a B350 or X370 (or A320) board, you may need a BIOS update to support the 2700X.

I updated it im assuming its the right one i used the latest one, my old one was a ryzen 1400

No you need to update your bios for 2nd gen if it is 300 series othervise you won't get a display.

Get the latest one on MSI website if you are unable to find it just mention your mobo's exact model I will insert a link here.
