No display with new video card!

i just got my Radeon 5670 from ups today. i placed it into my pc and now the monitor wont display anything. if i take out the monitor it works perfectly but its only when i place the card into the motherboard the monitor goes blank. i tired changing the ram around but still nothing. everything boots well though. the monitor im using is old. it has a VGA cable. i plug the cable into my motherboard. not the graphic card because it only supports Hdmi and dvi. what could be the problem?

You have to plug it into your graphics card. Not your motherboard, because it will switch to your pcie graphics not your onboard graphics.

oh aw crap that means i gotta buy some more stuff jesus chirst. and one more question how do you crossfire? cause i have two 5670 now and was wondering about it.

You need to have them in 2 slots and connected by a crossfire cable.
