no driect3d - please help?

I'm new here and would really appreciate some help...
I think this may have had something to do with running netmeeting recently however i wasnt using the remote share feature as MS article about this problem inidcates - all my direct3d and hardware acceleration for my Geforce2 MX is unavailable. I tried reinstalling the nvidia drivers... 12.41, 12.60, 12.90 ...no help...I tried reinstalling the VIA 4in1 (4.29, 4.31, 4.32) ...no help - I'm really stumped here - I cant figure out to get my direct3d/hardware acceleration back - can anyone help me please??

Try reinstalling Direct X.
