So I installed Windows 7 (Bad choice) from a usb flashdrive. I have no optical drive and I have no drivers. No usb drivers, no internet drivers, and no optical drive. I have an optical drive in my old pc. My only chance of getting drivers is to install the optical drive from my old pc to my new one and put the cd for my wireless internet card in and install that way. I can't use the old pc as it's done for. Help. Please. Do I need an adapter for the optical drive to work?

Solution
Either you're making it harder than it is, or I am not understanding the situation.
Hook up the optical drive either permanent or temporary. Set it as the 1st boot device in BIOS. Boot to Win and run the wireless adapter's driver disk. You should then have wifi internet.

Or... If you have an Ethernet connection for internet, after you have the optical drive working you can then use the motherboard disk to install the drivers that way, including the LAN driver. Newer drivers can then be installed from the board's web page if you want.

No, the optical drive will work as is if it's data connection matches the header on your motherboard... i.e. SATA to SATA.
Don't you have access to another PC that you can use to download the necessary drivers? Also, don't you have the motherboard's original disk?

I do have the motherboards original disk and the disk for my wireless internet adapter but I need to install the optical drive and hook it up then put in the cds. Will the internet adapter work if I install the drivers for it and then plug in the stick into my usb port?

I know it's a late respond, but for the people that can't do any of those things, download the drivers with your phone, connect your phone to your pc with a charger, go to the downloads folder and install the drivers. In windows 7 the usb 2.0 ports should even work without drivers
