Hey guys, I think my MB is broken. I can only use one ram stick at the time (both seems to work fine on their own). I haven't replaced anything so i doubt it comes from a bent pin for the CPU. The ram where bought as a pair ( so made to be together). I just need confirmation from you guys before buying a new motherboard
MotherBoard : Z370 AORUS Gaming 3
RAm : 2x8go hyperX
CPU : i5 8600k

Solution
yeah my thought exactly. any recommendation (as low price as possible) i've got 2 ram a i5 8600k, a single 960 as GPU and, well I'd like to use my two rams lmao

Considering you have a K chip I'd go for something that you can OC on... A Z390 board would be my choice. Depending on where you're located prices might differ:

Yeah... sounds like the motherboard. If you're sure that no pins are bent, you could RMA if it's still under warranty... otherwise new board.

Anyone reading your specs can only guess what memory you have. Using a part number and/or link would identify your exact memory.

I can tell you that memory modules sold as Single modules have no guarantee to work in any configuration other than as a Single module.
