No-DVD patch?

Archived from groups: alt.games.the-sims-2 (More info?)

I own the DVD version and all I can find are no-CD patches. Will those work
or will I need a no-DVD patch.. and where can I find one? I checked
gamecopyworld and it was only for the international version.

I've not come across any yet that function fully (let you build,
etc.). So for now the only solution was to use Alcohol 120% to image
my set and use Daemon Tools to mount it. Better than swapping disks
all day. 🙂
