No DVI on Rtx 2080ti cant use my 144hz monitor?

I have recently built my rig around the new 2080ti and now i am unable to use my 144hz monitor because it only has DVi/HDMI Inputs and with the RTX not having DVI im not sure what i am able to do

You'll have to use DP to DVI dual link active adapter. This will give you 120Hz operation.

Over $100? to be honest i might as well just put that towards a new Monitor with Display Port?
