[SOLVED] No Ethernet Connection on New MOBO

I recently changed my motherboard to this exact board: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01N9VCZOT?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

I now have no Ethernet connection and I’ve been trying for the past few hours to fix this. I’ve tried using the CD and installing the Intel LAN drivers but it was no help. The cord as well as connection are working. Any help?

Is this what you’re referring to? My bios doesn’t have any specifics on the nic.

It is enabled according to that image.

Do you install all your drivers? Sometimes lan driver is not enough. You should install chipset, and other drivers.

Are there any LEDs lit on any of the three s network ports shown in the link?

Did you try the "other" network ports?

Did you try another known working Ethernet cable?

I think you've nailed this on the head--try all the different ethernet ports as they might all be controlled by a different chipset and one of them is probably an impi port so is actually inbound vs outbound.

Since there are three ethernet ports on that board are you shure which one you have connected?

I've tried all 3 ethernet ports. I'm going to install the MOBO drivers again and see if it makes a difference.

As I said in the thread the cord works. Also what's strange is that the WIFI on the mobo works which is what I am using right now.

EDIT: Seemed to be an IP address issue within my spliter/modem. I had to reset each and then I got connection afterwards.
