I recently moved my pc into a new case, and after turning it on i notice that my ethernet cable wasnt working. The cable slot glows when i put it in so im sure that its there, but my pc for some reason doesnt have the driver for Realtek network controller.
I tried downloading the lan driver from the asus support page of my motherboard, but the exe wouldnt run and the bat opens a cmd thats only up for a second. The bat has an error which says Error: The system was unable to find the specified registry key or value.
Then i got a direct realtek driver but after running that it said, The realtek network driver was not found, if deep sleep is enabled please plug the cable.
Im at a loss
My motherboard is Rog Strix x470-f Gaming
Cpu Ryzen 2700x

After opening it in the device manager and going to manually download the driver, nothing seems to be appearing? http://prntscr.com/uktj4w
Download and install CPU-Z to identify your motherboard.

Run an application like speccy and see exactly what hardware you have because you might be mistaken that even the motherboard that you think you have

No there is none of that sort, ive been trying to manually download the Intel I211-AT Gigabit LAN Controller but i cant seem to find the inf file for that.
would you by any chance know where its located?
I downloaded the installer from here https://downloadmirror.intel.com/22283/eng/25_3.zip
If you do have an Asus Rog Strix x470-f Gaming, this is the page where the LAN driver is located. (Version 12.18.9.7)

Opening what in device manager? You didn’t even have real tech or Intel hardware in the device manager in the first place. And you haven’t proven to us what hardware that you actually have so nobody’s going to be able to help you no matter how many pictures you post

Your best bet is to format your OS drive and reinstall windows fresh. If that doesn’t fix it you have hardware issues Because the guessing is ridiculous

Did you do a motherboard swap and not install windows fresh? This would explain the strange behavior as well
