Building computer and trying to get desktop to post. Tried a normal post and there was no video output using GPU or mobo hdmi. Disconnected the ram and tried booting and there was still no ez debug light. Not sure if this means the motherboard is dead or if I should go through the post checklist like normal. Specs are Athlon 200ge, 2 X 4 GB Corsair vengeance LPX, RX 580 8gb and MSI B450M-A PRO B MAX if that helps at all.

Make and model PSU: wattage, age, condition?

Read through the motherboard's User Manual and check your work step by step. Double check everything and pay close attention to all notes and fine print.

[Note: Do the same for each installed component -read everything. And, check the applicable manufacturer's websites as well. There may be some updated information posted there.]

Verify that all connections are correct and fully and firmly in place. Ensure that all cards, RAM, and jumpers well seated.

Hopefully the problem is just some error of omission or commission.

Take your time, do not rush. If something does not seem right then stop and figure it out before proceeding.
