when gaming why doesn't my graphic cards fan come on

Maybe it is very quiet .
Seriously now, have you opened the case to verify that the fan doesn't start?
Was you GPU fan noisy before the incident?
When you boot up the pc does the GPU fan start spining?

when i boot up yes it comes on, no incident it's just that when i play r-factor it use to run alot. now not at all. an seems to be a little choppy when never was befor
