No free cloning programs are letting me clone to ssd

Many different cloning programs not letting me migrate to ssd even though there is more space on the ssd than used up on the source drive

I've used the Mini Tool Partition Wizard many times for both standard HD's and SSD's and have never had any issues.

On the source drive, it's the size of the partition which is relevant when cloning, not the amount of data that's on it.

If the source partition size is greater than the SSD capacity, cloning won't be possible.

If that's the cause of the problem, it will make no difference what cloning software you try.

Which ones have you tried, and what specific error do you get?

Actually, with Macrium, it is the size of the data and not the partitions.
This is how you can go from a single partition 1TB HDD to a 250GB SSD, if you only have 200GB consumed space on it.
