No Front panel Audio

Sound from back panel is fine. I just get none from front of case.

I checked the connections and it looks right.

Front panel case wires:
There are two connectors and a bunch of individual small connectors that come from the front on the case. One says HHD, the other says AC97, then at the end of the wire is a bunch of individual connectors. I connected the HHD to the motherboard and set the BIOS to HHD.

Not sure what to try now. Any ideas?

Double check your mobo manual, and BIOS settings. I think you have a choice of whether your sound comes from onboard circuitry to front panel, or, out the back via a PCI sound card. But not both!
