No games on laptop

Hello, just purchased a new laptop and installed windows 8 but now I don't have any standard games IE minesweeper on the laptop. How do I reinstall them when they were on the laptop when I was given it

If you choose to keep your old files, the games exist somewhere in your windowsOld folder, I believe. If you did not, you'll have to redownload them.

Hit the windows key, and type in games. Hit enter. Go to Windows Game Store which should be in white letters near the top of your screen. You might have to scroll to the right or left to find it. You should see Minesweeper on the right as well as a few other games for free.
