Question No GPU, £400 max Dual build

My friends looking at building 2 PCs for his kids (one preteen one young teen) to be used specifically for school work. To keep the cost down integrated mobo graphics obviously come to mind, my knowledge of which is... well, let's just say its negligible. Do you have any suggestions of the kind of build that would suit? I'm going to do some research myself but would be amiss not to ask. Thanks
