No GPU driver updates for Windows 8!!

I have an AMD GPU, I used to keep updating the drivers until Radeon introduced the Crimson editions, those drivers are only available for Win 7, 8.1 & 10. Raptr says my drivers are up to date, as it shows the last applicable update 15.11.1. Do I really need to upgrade to Win 8.1? what happens to all my data? 3 days ago I bought COD Infinite Warfare which requires one of those updates. Please help!!

Specs: AMD FX6300 6 Core 3.5 GHz, Sapphire Dual X R9 270x 4 GB, Hyper X 8 GB Ram.

Upgrading to Windows 8.1 from 8 shouldn't affect your data. I have Windows 8.1 on my HTPC, and when I upgraded from 8, all I had to do was go to the Microsoft Store, download the 8.1 update, and reboot for it to finish installing. (Note that this is a free upgrade)
