No GUI after flashing Tomatos Firmware

After having flashed Tomato's newest firmware for the ASUS rt-ac68u I cannot access the GUI anymore. I can't even connect to the network, neither by DHCP nor by manual assignment of the IP adresses. The wireless network does exist, however, I have no chance to connect with my Android mobile phone.
So I have to restore the stock firmware by booting into the restore mode.

Before flashing the firmware I made a factory reset of the router.

Any ideas?

Firmware used: tomato-RT-AC68U-ARM--126-AIO-64K.trx
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro x64
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2 GHZ

Go to the emergency restore mode. HERE is a good guide that has the restore procedure steps about 2/3 down the page.

Thanks but I have already restored the stock firmware. Thats easy.
But I am wondering why there is no GUI after flashing Tomatos. I went exactly trough the steps explained in your link.

Can you please changed the status of the thread? Unfortunately, it is not solved..

I think the problem is the NVRAM, which has to be cleared. I will try that later.

Sure, done. Follow the whole guide, I used it many times without issues.

Yes, resetting the NVRAM between flashes is always a good idea.

That worked. I cleared the NVRAM by holding the WPS button at startup till the router rebooted.
